Earlier today, minimum wage workers and supporters of a minimum wage increase in Chicago marched down the Magnificent Mile along the sidewalk of Michigan Avenue to fight for better wages and a better future. As loud as thunder, they shouted chants of “No justice, no peace. Poverty wages must increase” and “Downtown workers can’t survive living on 8.25.”
